Dear parents and carers,
We are encouraging all our families to attend at least one meeting per year and to also consider the different roles there are within the P&C.
The saying ‘Many hands make light work” really rings true and we understand that everyone leads very busy lives. All contributions are valued and we hope to see you at a P&C meeting soon.
What Are the Benefits of Getting Involved?
Getting involved is a great way to show your kids that you take an interest in their education and school community.
Many schools now have to raise their own funds for activities and supplies that once were considered basic necessities. Parent volunteers are essential to organising fundraising events and other school activities who add so much value to your child’s school experience.
Working with teachers, administrators, and other parents will help you understand your child’s daily activities. You’ll also tap into trends and fads of school life that can help you communicate with your kids as they grow and change.
Even if you haven’t been involved in the past, it’s never too late to start.
How do I Get Involved?
We are approaching that time of the year when the P&C Annual General Meeting will take place (6/4/2022). In order for you to be able to vote or take on an official role in 2022, you also need to attend the meeting prior to the AGM which is on March 9 at 7pm.
