Dear carers,

I want to thank everybody for your messages of support during this week as we were nonoperational for 2 days due to a Positive COVID case.

It has been challenging, however I am very thankful for the support from community, staff, Director Nic Accaria and the Department of Education Asset Management and Work Health Safety Teams. We are once again open for students, who can not learn from home due to their carers being essential workers. However, please email the school to indicate that you plan to send your child and on which days. At the moment we are very short staffed, with 70% of staff either in a LGA of concern or self-isolating for 14 days. Informing us of your child’s attendance will help ensure that we have enough staff on the ground to supervise your child whilst they complete their at home learning work.

From 9.30am on Monday morning, the Learning Packs will be ready for pickup from the school hall.

When picking up please ensure that your bring back all previous learning packs for teachers to mark. Just leave them in the labelled tote tray for your child’s class. We use the return of learning packs and engagement online to mark the attendance roll. Also bring back any home readers and leave them in the labelled tote tray for sanitising.

When you come to collect, please remember to:

  • wear a mask
  • sign in with the COVID QR code
  • sanitise your hands upon entry
  • stay socially distanced from staff or other parents who may also be picking up

In the meantime, stay safe and connected.

Kind Regards,

Ms Haller
