Good morning Parents and Carers,

Thanks so much for your support of Learning at Home and keeping our community safe.

Please note that the public health order is as follows: Parents and carers in Greater Sydney must keep children – across primary and secondary school – at home unless they need to be at school. Staff who reside inside Fairfield, Liverpool, Canterbury-Bankstown, Cumberland and Blacktown LGAs and work in schools outside that LGA  are not working onsite at their school.

We all understand that supporting your child/ren to engage in Learning from Home is challenging, and even more so if you too are working from home. I want to emphasise that your best is good enough, please do not stress if something is not working or if you are finding it hard, we all are. It is ok to work around your own work commitments, which might mean that you start earlier and finish earlier or start later and finish later. The most important thing for all of us is to, look after each other and stay safe and at home.

If you need support please know:

  • your teachers can be contacted via Class Dojo
  • you can call the school office between 9.00 and 3.00

Generally 70% staff are working from home, so you may not be able to speak with staff immediately but a message will be given to the person you wish to speak to and they will get back to you.

Put the name of the staff member whom you would like to action your request in the subject line.

  • Mr Solomon is available to help with technical issues.

Please let your class teacher know as soon as possible if you require support.

Learning Packs can be picked up from 9am on Monday 26th July from the school hall.

Please ensure that your bring back the Week 2 learning pack for teachers to mark. Just leave them in the labelled tote tray for your child’s class.

Also bring back any home readers and leave them in the labelled tote tray for sanitising.

When you come to collect, please remember to:

  • wear a mask
  • sign in with the COVID QR code
  • sanitise your hands upon entry
  • stay socially distanced from other parents who may also be picking up

Stay well and safe and let us know if you need any help in regards to picking up your child’s learning pack.

Kind regards,

Lisa Haller | Principal
